Questions before your first skywatch

Who can join the meetup?
Anyone with an interest in the night sky is welcome—members, newcomers, students, families, and solo visitors.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. Bring binoculars or a telescope if you have them, but we always make shared viewing spots available.
What happens if weather changes?
If cloud cover or wind makes observing difficult, we post updates and either adjust timing, shift location, or move to a short indoor sky session.
How long do meetups usually last?
Most sessions run about 90 minutes, with a flexible arrival window so you can stay for part or all of the observing plan.
Are beginners welcome?
Absolutely. We explain each target in plain language and pair first-time attendees with experienced members during the session.
